The Results Are In

I'm finally home from vacation (more on that later) and I've checked my stats:

This looks just like my normal traffic pattern. In fact, only June 1st seems to have been an abnormally busy day and I was still here.

This chart tells me one of two things:

1. Nick is wrong. Female bloggers don't have it easier. If six of them in one place doesn't increase traffic, what will?


OR


2. I've reached my blogging peak and I need to quit while I'm ahead. Obviously, this site is getting all the traffic it will ever see and this past week was my "Jump the Shark" moment.

I think Jenna, Phel, Belle, Lisa, Truly, and Tee Bee did a great job guest posting this past week. I'm a little disappointed that I wasn't around to watch and comment as they trashed the place. So, I'm not going to pull their guest posting privileges yet.

Tomorrow or later this week I'll think about restoring this blog to "normal", almost. I'm going to try to convince Tee Bee to stick around another week because I've left her off my blogroll for so long.
