    Support Lower Gas Prices Counter-Petition

I've decided that I want to collect "signatures" of people who do not support governor Doyle's shameful posturing against the oil companies and the president. You can read my comments about it here.

If you also want to be recognized as being opposed to Doyle's petition use the email address in my profile to send me the following:

    Your Name
    Your Zip code or city
    Comments

This isn't a petition in the legal sense, and neither is the governor's list. So, I'm willing to accept your blogger handle as "identification." I will, however, weed out any submissions that seem fishy to me. The point is to have a unique list of names that is long enough to show that not everyone is buying the governor's baloney. This is intended to be a list of people who do not agree with the governor's petition. Please provide a short comment if you have anything you'd like to add or disagree with regarding my statements on the issue.

Help me keep this list alive by periodically linking or adding it to your side bar.

Don't worry Aaron, I stuck up for you...at this point, it seems I'm the only one.
I emailed Doyle and this is what I said:
    "Dear Governor Doyle,
My friend Aaron is upset that his name might appear on your petition to support lowering gas prices. If it is found on your list, can you please remove it, as he did not register himself. Though I do not agree with his stance on politics, and tend to side more with your avenue for change, he is still my friend and should not allow someone else to use his name or identity inappropriately."
Then I included a copy of your message to Governor Doyle. If you're gonna write it, why not make sure the message gets delivered, right?
I finished the email by saying:
"I hope you can rectify this matter.
    All my best,
    Adrianne P."
I recieved an email back today saying that since the contents of my email are time sensitive, I should contact his office to discuss this matter.
    See, who needs Jenna?!!

I'm lookin' out for you little buddy. Who's your pal???

Make the call. I was about to do exactly the same thing.

You may give my phone number out if the person you talk to seems genuinely interested in doing the right thing.

Who's talikng about giving out phone numbers? I'm gonna invite Doyle to participate in the next West Allis Parade that goes past your house. Maybe he'll throw you a tootsie roll or two!
