GPL Podcast #13
Guest: Brad V. - Letters in Bottles.
This podcast was recorded hours after our interview with JB Van Hollen. We tried to get both Brad and Steve from Letters in Bottles to talk with us.
Things didn't go exactly as planned, and I was "celebrating" the interview we'd just completed. Brad was a good sport, though. He handled my audio BWI just fine!
Listen here. (16 minutes)

2 Amendments:
Great little discussion on China. A lot of people don't see them as a threat, and that is just the way they like it.
You are right some of the Blogging world is off limits.
I was in China late last year and early this year.
I couldn't get to Blogger, but I could get to plcs.net.
The fact is, that I could easily have gone on the VPN and blogged from work, but I have a personal rule not to blog at work.
I'm sure that there are plenty of Chinese who have figured out how to use a proxy server.
The Company that I work for has built a small plant in China to manufacture cores there.
Yes labor is cheaper there, but a big reason we are manufacturing in China is because some of our best customers have demanded that we start manufacturing there.
The more that the US invests in China the better things will be.
Truthfully when I was in China I didn't see much Communism.
I saw street beggers, and I saw fancy cars, grand apartments and little tiny lean to's.
The whole experience kinda reminds me of what I imagine the 1950's was like in America, but with a whole lot more people.
