Who Cares What the Iraqis Are Saying? The best news is that they're able to say whatever they want to now!
Many of you linked Jessica McBride this week, because she had commentary from Iraqi bloggers about this week's elections.
I think there's a piece that many of you may have missed: Iraq has bloggers? The major story really ought to be that the Iraqi people have finally found freedom of speech online! Saddam tried to keep the internet out of Iraq, because he was afraid of the free exchange of information. The fact that the Iraqis are wired now is HUGE!

What's great is that now the Iraqis can focus on other issues. They are no longer worried about human rights. They can now fight for women's rights.
Does that mean their world has gotten bigger or smaller? Depends on the size of the world they choose to live in.
At least no they have a choice!!!
