A Test: Have You Been Watching Too Much TV
I've been discovering some astounding things about how short people's news memory can be. Here's a quick test to see if you might be getting suckered by the mainstream media.
1) After the 9/11 attacks, how long did the United States wait before going to war.
a. A year and a half
b. Less than one month
c. Faster than an SUV guzzles oil
2) Following the 9/11 attacks, the United States went to war in what country?
a. Iraq
b. Afghanistan
c. Vietnam
3) Who does the Bush administration blame for 9/11?
a. Saddam Hussein
b. Osama Bin Laden
c. Halliburton
4) An Afghan is:
a. A blanket.
b. A person who comes from Afghanistan, like the little green-eyed girl in National Geographic.
c. French for 'quagmire'.
5) Tora Bora is:
a. A hip hop group. Or, maybe that film about Pearl Harbor.
b. A mountainous region of Afghanistan, known to house a cavernous network of terrorist hideouts.
c. A Bush crony.
If you answered 'a' to any question, you've been duped. The good news is, you're not alone. Sadly, I've talked to a number of people that don't remember the war that wiped out the Taliban.

This is so true. You know its funny they blame osama and then they go to iraq and we here about all the terrible things there but what happened to the guys still fighting in afghanistan you hear nothing about that any more. pardon my spelling and caps my kids spilled something on my keyboard.
